Christophe Pecheyran receives award from French National Research Institute | December 6, 2017

Christophe Pécheyran, from the French National Research Institute (CNRS) and the University of Pau, received the CNRS cristal medal for his work on analytical chemistry with ultrafast lasers.

He has pioneered new methods in analytical chemistry applied to environmental studies, the oil industry, among other fields. He has developed two generation of ultrafast laser based analytical systems offering high sensititivity and high spatial resolution for trace element analysis.
